Stowe Land Trust staff and volunteers celebrated National Trails Day at Wiessner Woods on Saturday, June 5th.  Despite the soggy weather we managed to build a new bridge near the trailhead to Wiessner as well as build several sections of puncheon on the Meadow Trail and cleared several blowdowns on the Hardwood Ridge Trail.  Thanks to all of the volunteers who put in several productive hours of work sprucing up the trails. 

Thanks also to Edelweiss Mountain Deli for the tremendous lunches they donated for the occasion.  No one left hungry after enjoying sandwiches, potato salad, cookies and don't forget the pickle!
