10% to Cady Hill Forest When You Buy A Bike

The Skiershop is donating 10% of proceeds from bike sales in the months of April and May to the Cady Hill Forest conservation project.  Bikes are arriving daily from Giant, Scott and Intense.  If you are planning to get a new bike this season stop by the Skiershop or give them a call at 802.25.7919.

 


Adams Camp Trail Walk - Rescheduled

Take a tour of the sustainably built trails at Adams Camp with the Stowe Mountain Bike Club.  Trail designers will explain the benefits of well built trail and describe plans for trail management at Cady Hill Forest.


Pie in the Sky Benefit Bake

Each year members of the community have an opportunity to gather together in support of land conservation over pizza.  This year the event will raise money for the protection of Cady Hill Forest - a great trail network within walking distance of Pie in the Sky.  So plan to head to Pie in the Sky for lunch, dinner, or both because 100% of pizza sales will be donated to Stowe Land Trust.

Bird Walk

Kirchner Woods 9-11 am
Celebrate the return of migratory birds to Vermont with naturalist and SLT board member Jan Axtell with a morning bird walk at Kirchner Woods.  A few pairs of binoculars will be availabe but feel free to bring your own.  Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.  Meet in the trail head parking area off Taber Hill Road.  This is a great outing for families.

Explore the diverse ecosystem where water meets land at Joe’s Pond with naturalist and board member Jan Axtell.  Flowers, trees and shrubs will be green and the peepers will be active so bring your boots and plant ID guides for this fun spring event.  Please park along the side of Stancliff Road near the Stowe Land Trust sign.  This is a great outing for families.

Vermont Fine Art Gallery is partnering with Stowe Land Trust for its summer art show.  Featuring Vermont gallery artists Elisabeth Wooden, Bob Aiken & more, painting the many beautiful Stowe vistas.  A portion of the proceeds from sales during the show will go to the Stowe Land Trust in honor of the 25th anniversary of conserving land in the Stowe area.  For more information visit, Vermont Fine Art Gallery.
