GPS Workshop for SLT Stewards
Stowe High School
Saturday, May 8th 9 am - 4:30 pm

Map and GPS fundamentals will be taught during this all day workshop for volunteer stewards.  This workshop includes field and computer lab components to help participants gain experience with using GPS units to navigate property boundaries as well as mark notable observations in the field.

Stowe Land Trust Benefit Bake
Pie in the Sky
Thursday, May 20th - All Day
 
Take-out pizza takes off during the Benefit Bake sponsored by Pie in the Sky.  Stop in for a slice at lunch or take a pie home for the family.  No matter what you choose - there is no more delicious way to contribute to Stowe Land Trust's land conservation efforts.

Kirchner Woods Work Day
Saturday, May 22nd 9 am - 12 pm

Last year trail clearing took place during a few late season work days.  Join us as we resume work on the expanded trail system with more trail clearing, bridge building and other trail construction projects.  Be sure to wear work clothes, sturdy shoes and work gloves.

Wiessner Woods Wildflower Walk 
Tuesday, May 25th 6 pm

Welcome spring back to Wiessner Woods.  Join us as we search for woodland favorites like trout lily, pink lady slipper, trillium and more.  We will have several wildflower guides on hand but feel free to bring your own.

Wiessner Work Day
Saturday, June 5th 9 am - 12 pm

Each year in June, Stowe Land Trust holds a work day at Wiessner Woods to commemorate National Trails Day.  Join SLT staff and trail builders from Timber and Stone, llc. as we spruce up the trails and parking area and work to improve drainage on several sections of trail this season.  Be sure to wear work clothes, sturdy shoes and work gloves.  Lunch will be provided so please RSVP.

Join Stowe Land Trust as it works to put the final touches on the trail network and celebrate the grand opening with us! 

11th Annual Golf Tournament and Calcutta
August 4th and 5th

Traditionally held the first week of August, Stowe Land Trust's Annual Invitational Golf Tournament is guaranteed to be a fun time.  Watch for our save the date card and call to reserve a spot.

SLT is holding an evening mountain bike ride in Sterling Forest.  Come enjoy miles of single track maintained by the Stowe Mountain Bike Club on land conserved by SLT and owned and managed by the Town.
