Sunday, July 11th
Ranch Camp Ramble 5k
Stowe Mountain Resort Nordic Center
100% double-track jeep trail

The Ranch Camp Ramble begins at the Stowe Mountain Resort Nordic Center.  A friendly double-track jeep trail takes you down along the babbling Ranch Brook to a moderate climb on the famous Burt Trail.  You will pass the site of the historic Ranch Camp, before merging onto the Bruce Trail for a short challenging climb to the bridge across the brook.  The return on Timberlane is fast and fun!  This course is actually 3.5 miles or 5.5k.  Walkers, please keep left to make way for runners.

Town Loops 5k Stampede (runners only)

97% single-track, 2% double-track, 1% dirt road

The "Town Loops" 5k begins on a private dirt road and quickly merges onto a single-track trail.  This course is technical and challenging with loads of exciting features.  You will pass through classic hardwood forests along rocky outcroppings and over several narrow and interesting wooden bridges.  The trail takes you through a stunning tall pine forest before ending back at Golden Eagle Resort.  Watch carefully for the Stowe Trail Race Series directional arrows.

Trapp Cabin 10k Trail Race

Trapp Family Lodge
99% double-track, 1% dirt road

Beginning and ending in the Trapp Family Lodge Meadow, the race winds through 800 vertical feet of idyllic forest, babbling brooks and wildflowers.  The race follows a dirt road briefly before merging with double-track cross country trails.  The trails are not accessible to the general public so this is a special opportunity to run in a unique location.
