Volunteer Opportunities

Stowe Land Trust is always seeking volunteers interested in supporting our mission.  Volunteer opportunities are available on a one-time or long-term basis.  There is a wide range of volunteer activities, from office work to trail work.

Long-term volunteers usually join one of Stowe Land Trust's committees.  Committees include the Stewardship Committee, which works to monitor properties after conservation, the Development Committee, which plans SLT's schedule of events, and the Membership Committee, which devises SLT's membership strategy.  If you are interested in joining one of SLT's Committees, please call us at 253-7221 or click here.

People interested in volunteering on a one-time basis are always welcome at our workdays, held every spring at Sunset Rock and Wiessner Woods.  Other one-time volunteer opportunities are available by contacting SLT.

Larry Lackey, Tom Kaufmann, David Jaqua and Cindy Knauf enjoy a day 'on the job'.
