Nordic Ski in Brownsville-Story Ridge Forest
Join SLT board members on this fun ski through the rolling hills of Brownsville-Story Ridge Forest. We'll pick a route based on current snow conditions and participant experience, but no matter where we go we'll have beautiful views of the Worcester Range and across the valley to the Green Mountains if the day is clear.
Location: Brownsville-Story Ridge Forest. Meet at the corner of McCall Pasture Road and Brownsville Road where the plowing ends. Please pull to the side of the road and take care not to block neighboring driveways or the roadway.
Date and Time: Saturday, February 15, 2020, 10 am - 12 pm
Participants should dress in warm layers and have previous nordic skiing experience. This is not a ski lesson. Please bring snacks, water, extra clothing, and backcountry nordic skis, poles and boots (metal edged skis are highly recommended). Please leave pets at home.
This event is free and open to the public.
