Birds, Trails, and Forestry Walk: How Are They Connected?

Saturday, June 1, 2024
AM – 10 AM

Cady Hill Forest is well-loved for its trails, but have you ever considered what other aspects of the forest are important? Join our community partners for an informative bird walk!

Join Stowe Trails Partnership on Saturday, June 1st from 8:00am – 10:00am for a guided walk through Cady Hill to learn about the birds and changing habitat within the forest. Audubon Vermont‘s Steve Hagenbuch will be our fearless leader, co-hosted with the Vermont Woodlands Association. They'll discuss what makes a healthy bird habitat, sustainable forestry practices, and how the two intersect with the recreational use of the land and forest.

Meet us at the Substation parking lot off of Cady Hill Road at 8:00am for this two-hour stroll. This is a family-friendly event, and questions are encouraged! We’ll see you there!

Want to experience this event from your mountain bike? Join Stowe Trails Partnership's Bird, Trails, and Forestry Mountain Bike Ride on May 23.
