Join us in celebrating National Trails Day with a morning of trail maintenance at beautiful Wiessner Woods! Volunteers of all ages are welcome to lend a hand as we work together to care for this beloved community trail network.
Whether you're a seasoned trail steward or just looking to give back to the local landscape, this is a great opportunity to meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts and help keep our trails safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all.
We'll provide tools and guidance—just bring sturdy shoes, water, and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
What to Expect:
- Light trail maintenance tasks suitable for all ages
- A fun, rewarding way to support conservation and recreation in Stowe
- Time outdoors in a scenic forest setting
Please Bring:
- Sturdy footwear
- Work gloves (SLT will provide a limited number of gloves)
- Water bottle, snacks, and any other materials to be comfortable with the weather conditions
RSVP is required; please use the event sign-up form below. A minimum of 5 registrants are needed for the program to run.
We look forward to seeing you on the trails!
