Join fellow volunteers to shape trails that everyone can enjoy.
Join us for a hands-on morning of trail work at Kirchner Woods as we help complete the adaptive upgrades that make this trail network more accessible for all users, including adaptive mountain bikers.
Whether you're a seasoned trail steward or just looking to give back to the local landscape, this is a great opportunity to meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts and help keep our trails safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to lend a hand as we work together to care for this beloved community trail network.
We'll provide tools and instruction—just bring sturdy shoes, water, and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
What to Expect:
- Trail work focused on adaptive features—moving soil and rocks to finish key sections
- A meaningful way to contribute to inclusive, sustainable recreation in Stowe
- Time outdoors with a great community in a beautiful forest setting
Please Bring:
- Sturdy, closed-toe footwear
- Work gloves (SLT will provide a limited number of gloves)
- Water, snacks, and any other materials to be comfortable with the weather conditions
RSVP is required; please use the event sign-up form below. A minimum of 5 registrations are needed for the program to run. Minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
We look forward to seeing you on the trails!
