Let's Celebrate!

Stowe Land Trust invites you to celebrate 30 years of conservation in our community at Strawberry Hill Farm on Saturday, September 9 from 3:00 - 7:30 pm. 

Schedule

3-4 pm: Stowe Land Trust Annual Meeting - Free & open to the public.

Guest speaker meteorologist Roger Hill on Climate and Extreme Weather: Implications for Conservation, Water quality and Recreation.

4-5 pm: Outings & Activities for the Whole Family including (free):

  •  Hayride around the field with SLT board member, Dave Wilkens
  •  Mushroom foraging with local chef, Jack Pickett
  •  Cady Hill Mountain Bike Ride with SLT board member, Jesse Goldfine
  •  Nature Exploration with SLT Naturalist, Krista Battles

5-7:30 pm: Catered casual dinner & drinks by Woodbelly, dessert by Stowe Ice Cream and Stowe Bee Bakery & Cafe, and live music by Burn Permit. Tickets: $15/Adult, $5/Kid or $30/Family

30th Klean Kanteen pint cups for sale at the event for $10.

Directions to Strawberry Hill Farm: From Stowe Village, head north on the Mountain Road (Rt 108). After 1.5 miles, turn left onto Meadow Lane at the Gables Inn. Continue for a 1/2 mile on Meadow Lane to the end of the road. Look for the tent and parking signs.
