The Lodge at Spruce Peak and Stowe Land Trust have launched a new partnership to help protect the beautiful mountains, rural farmland, healthy forests, and clear water that make Stowe special. For every night’s stay at Spruce Peak, guests can now elect to make a $1 nightly donation to Stowe Land Trust. The donations help to support the Land Trust’s work to protect scenic, recreational, and productive farm and forest lands for the Stowe area community and future generations.

“Spruce Peak guests come to Stowe to experience our spectacular mountain views, world-class outdoor recreation opportunities, and rural landscapes,” said Spruce Peak President, Sam Gaines. “Giving them a chance to help conserve what they love about Stowe by supporting the Land Trust is an obvious choice.”

“We are thrilled to add the Lodge at Spruce Peak to our core group of hotel partners,” said Kristen Sharpless, Stowe Land Trust Executive Director. “Just like our mountains, forests, and farms, Spruce Peak is part of what makes Stowe unique. Giving visitors the opportunity to participate in the land trust’s local conservation work while enjoying all that Stowe has to offer is a win-win.”

Stowe Land Trust has similar partnerships with three other resorts and hotels in Stowe:  Trapp Family Lodge, Topnotch Resort and Spa, and The Stowehof. Collectively, guests staying at partner hotels have contributed more than $260,000 to support the Land Trust’s community conservation work since 2012.
