Celebrate community, conservation and connections with Stowe Land Trust on Saturday, September 22nd from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. The event is taking place under a big tent at the Moscow Recreation Field located on the Moscow Road in Stowe.

The Land Trust’s annual business meeting will begin at 2:00 PM. All are welcome to attend while SLT members vote on a slate of board candidates, honor volunteers, and share a brief financial presentation. Guest speakers Trey Martin and Hal Ellms are partners in SLT’s newest Hunger Mountain Headwaters land protection effort and passionate advocates for keeping Vermont’s special outdoor spaces intact and accessible. Trey and Hal will share how Stowe's outdoors and recreation economy connect to initiatives across the state and region.

Following the business meeting, mingle with friends and neighbors while enjoying wood-fired pizza & cash bar by Woodbelly Pizza, and ice cream thanks to Stowe Ice Cream. The field will feature lots of fun, family-friendly activities from our partners to explore ranging from meeting farmer Rosina Wallace’s calf named Ferdinand; invasive insect games with VT Urban & Community Forestry Program, and Stowe Tree Warden, Charlie Lusk; native tree and shrub ID and planting tips with the Intervale Conservation Nursery; and getting your photo taken with Blue Hill Logging’s skidder!

This event is free and open to the public. There will be a children's program (ages 5+) during the business portion of the event. You must be a member to vote during the business meeting. For more information or to RSVP, please click here or call us at 802-253-7221.
