EventsMayo Farm

Stowe Land Trust and the Stowe Conservation Commission are teaming up to get people outside and exploring Mayo Farm this summer!

Roll up your sleeves and help us tackle invasive honeysuckle at Mayo Farm. These aggressive shrubs can quickly take over natural areas, outcompeting native plants like wildflowers, ferns, and young trees.

Join this work party to make a meaningful difference while spending time outdoors!

RSVP is required. Please RSVP below!

What to Bring:

  • Sturdy working shoes
  • Backpack with water, snacks, and weather-appropriate layers
  • Work gloves - if you own them! (Stowe Land Trust has a limited number of work gloves)
  • Anything else you'd want for an active workday!

Please wear long pants and weather-appropriate layers to ensure you are comfortable for an active workday!

To learn more about Mayo Farm and ways to get involved, visit the Stowe Conservation Commission's webpage and check out Stowe Land Trust's overview of the property.

We have a rain date of August 20 from 3:00-5:00 PM and will reach out if the event is postponed.
