Stowe Land Trust and the Stowe Conservation Commission are teaming up to get people outside and exploring Mayo Farm this summer!
Join river scientists Staci Pomeroy and Taylor Lozier from the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation for a guided walk along the West Branch of the Little River. Learn how this dynamic river shapes and supports the surrounding landscape.
Please park at the Special Event field. From there, we will walk along the Quiet Path, following the river through open meadows, riparian zones, and forest edges. Along the way, enjoy science views of the surrounding hills and farmland while learning how rivers move and function.
RSVP is required. Please RSVP below!
What to Bring:
- Sturdy walking shoes
- Backpack with water, snacks, and weather-appropriate layers
- Anything else you'd like for a comfortable walk

We have a rain date of July 16 from 3:00-4:30 PM and will reach out if the event is postponed.
