Stowe Land Trust and the Stowe Conservation Commission are teaming up to get people outside and exploring Mayo Farm this summer!

Lend a helping hand as we work together to build and install wire beaver cages to safeguard important trees along the West Branch of the Little River. This volunteer workday is a great way to help protect native trees while spending time outdoors!

RSVP is required. Please RSVP below!

What to Bring:

  • Sturdy working shoes
  • Backpack with water and snacks
  • Work gloves and wire cutters - if you own them! (Stowe Land Trust has limited work gloves and wire cutters)
  • Anything else you'd want for an active workday!

Please wear long pants and weather-appropriate layers to ensure you are comfortable for an active workday!

To learn more about Mayo Farm and ways to get involved, visit the Stowe Conservation Commission's webpage and check out Stowe Land Trust's overview of the property.

We have a rain date of June 30 from 3:00-5:00 PM and will reach out if the event is postponed.
