Stowe Land Trust is upgrading the Mill Trail's main trail and adding a new side trail to the historic Moravian Cabin to meet Universal Access trail standards, which will make both trails more accessible to a wider variety of people.
Join Stowe Land Trust and Timber & Stone, LLC to lend a hand decking a new bridge at the Mill Trail.
Stowe Land Trust is partnering with Timber & Stone, LLC to complete a major trail improvement project to make our trails more climate resilient and accessible. We're looking for a team of volunteers to help us install decking on one bridge, so that families with young children and those that require canes, crutches, or a steadying hand can more easily explore the Mill Trail.
No experience needed, just a willingness to work hard and follow guidance from the crew!
Please wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and bring water, snacks, and anything else you may need for an active workday.
To keep the worksite safe and efficient, we’re limiting participation to 8 adult volunteers. Please sign up below if you are committed to attending!
We have a rain date of July 9 from 10:30-2:30 PM and will reach out if the event is postponed.
